In The Burgh
Well, Hayden and I made it to Pittsburgh on Saturday. It was quite an experience though. Whitney took us to the airport and the AirTran line was unbelievably long. I had already done electronic check in, so all I had to do was give them the bag that I was checking. After asking an AirTran worker where to go-showing her that I had a baby in a stroller and one on the way-I was given no assistance or special treatment. So, I made the decision to take the bag that I was going to check. So I had a baby, stroller, purse, diaper bag, and rolling carry-on bag to deal with. The security line was very long, but we made it through. I guess that since it was so busy the air port workers didn't offer help to anyone. I was on my own! After getting through the security line and going down the elevator I realized that I had forgotten my rolling carry-on at the security check! So, we had to find our way back to the security check point so that I could get all of our clothes for the week. I got them and headed to our gate. Once we were on the plane, taxing for the runway Hayden looked at me and said, "poo poo"! Well, she indeed did have a poo poo diaper but there was nothing that I could do about it for a while. So, I ended up breaking the rules a little and making a break for the bathroom before the seat belt light was turned off. But I didn't get in trouble! I changed her on the toilet and that was an experience! She was very good on the plane and everything went well. Thankfully there was a teenage boy across the isle that kept Hayden busy. She enjoyed flirting with him! Then we met up with Johnny before going to meet mom and Bernie. Mom and Bernie didn't know that Johnny was coming in too. Then we headed to meet them. When we got there September was there too! She had surprised me! So, the whole fam is in for a visit! I got sick pretty much as soon as we got back to the house. Hayden's preschool class had a virus that was going around. Hayden caught a little bit of it with all of her poo poo diapers, but she passed all of it on to mommy. So, I was sick all Saturday and Sunday. But I am feeling much better today. No pictures yet, but now that I am 100% we will be doing lots of fun things and taking some great pictures.
