Tree on Roof

Sorry about the order of the pictures. Here is the help that arrived in order to help us get the tree off of our roof. John (the one by the gutter) is a friend of Jeremy's from college and Dan is a friend from church.
It all happened yesterday around 12:45. Both boys were down for a nap, Hayden, Layne, and I were in Layne's room playing and putting clothes away, and Jeremy was in our bedroom/office working. All of a sudden there was a huge crashing sound. We had no idea what it was. I grabbed both girls and went searching for Jeremy so that he could get the other two boys. I found Jeremy outside looking at the roof. When I got out there I saw this! All the children were startled and screaming. It was a very scary experience-but everyone was safe.
They didn't want to mess up the gutters while they were getting the tree off of the roof so it took a lot of brainstorming and planning to get it off. I have video of it too! Darrel, another friend from church, came to help too.
In order to get through these rough times where it seems like it's one terrible thing after another we have to look for God it all of this. God sent many people to help us remove this tree. We could not have done it without them. John, Darrel, Dan, and Matt just dropped whatever it was that they were doing and just came to help. As silly as this sounds, them showing up helped Jeremy and I to keep ourselves together-we may have just lost it if God didn't show his face through these men. All I had to offer them when they were done was a tall cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows of course!
We are most likely going to have to get a new roof because of this whole ordeal. We have, what we consider to be, a large deducible to meet. Please keep us in your prayers during these challenging times.
