Birthday Celebration!
Yesterday was Hayden's actual birthday so we had a big day planned. I made her chocolate chip waffles and Aunt September made her hash browns for breakfast. Then we got ready to go to the Aquarium! We stopped at Johhnny Rocket's for a special birthday lunch.
This is one of my favorite exhibits. Sep took a great picture of Hayden looking at the jellyfish.
Layner was great in the beginning, but pretty much after this exhibit she had a meltdown on and off for the entire time we were there! Hayden had a great time though.
She loved looking at all of the fish.
We even saw the 4D movie....well, Hayden and September saw the movie. Layne and I had to leave due to fussiness. Hayden sat on September's lap for the movie and just about jumped out of her skin every time something "came at her". She said the movie scared her. When we got home she told me that she likes our TV better because the things are stuck in there!!
Sweet little Layner....for the moment!
Here is the hat that Layne gave Hayden for her birthday. What a cutie.
I can't believe that one of our precious babies is three years old already! I remember the day that she came into this world-all 6 pounds 13 ounces of her! She was so perfect and so worth the wait. And I remember the trying months that followed during the time that Jeremy and I tried to figure out what on earth we were doing when it came to raising our amazing gift from God. And I remember the first time that she smiled at me and the first time she said "mommy"then later followed it with "I love you mommy" and the first crawl, and the first steps, and the first day at preschool, and the first time she prayed at night, and the look on her face when we brought sister home, and how she has loved her sister from day one...... There are so many memories and I cherish every single one of them. I am so grateful to God for giving us such a sweet, loving, tender hearted, innocent, honest, compassionate, joyful, silly, smart, beautiful, and simply amazing miracle. She has changed our lives in such a great way, I pray that when she looks back at her childhood she will have mostly sweet memories. Happy birthday lovey!
