The Mystery of The Mister...
So, tonight I shared an explanation about the purpose of something that I made up in my head and it wasn't even close to right. We all got a good laugh at it, so I thought I would share with my blog family. By now I am sure you have learned that I love to laugh and I don't mind sharing funny stories about myself! So, here it goes.
We (Matt, Jamie, Jerm, and me) were talking about the produce misters at grocery store. Jamie eluded to the fact that the distant sound of thunder that comes on before the misters start is there to warn people about the mist! It was such an enlightening moment for me because all this time I was thinking that someone invented the mister with noise in order to trick the produce into thinking that they were still outside in their natural environment!! I always thought that it was a silly invention considering the fact that produce isn't alive and not capable of thought! I think that someone must have told me that was what the mister thunder sound was for and I just believed them. That's another thing about me-I am very naive!
