Here is a cute little sundress that we just couldn't pass up. We had to have the hat too! Hopefully the hat will fit when we got to Florida. It said 6-12 months! But you never know how big her head will be in 4 months!

Since Hayden can sit up on her own we changed her activity center around. I think she is pretty proud of herself, we are too of course! Now that she can sit up it's like a whole new world.
Hayden found out that she could keep an eye on mommy even through I am behind her! She thought that was the neatest thing. As soon as our eyes would meet she would squeal and laugh.
Funny story: When we bought Hayden this toy I felt like the music it played was a little loud but there was no volume control switch. So, I decided to tape a tissue over the speaker so that it wouldn't damage Hayden's sensitive little ear drums. You see, I used blue tape so that it would be disguised! Can you even tell where the speaker is?!

Here's the fake squint smile. She doesn't realize how funny she is...I don't think.
Today was another cold day, so mommy built a fire. Hayden loved watching the flames. She took a minute to look back at me when she heard me turn on the camera. She won't miss a photo opportunity!
Hayden had her 6 month check up today. She weighs 15 pounds 12 ounces which is right on track for her age. The doctor and nurse said she is doing everything perfectly and she is a perfect little baby.....well except for the head. She still has a rather large head. But they said that there is nothing to worry about....she just has a large head. Hayden got 2 shots today. She didn't even cry for the first one but she screamed for the second one! After I got her calmed down I put her on the table to get her dressed again. She then started her fake cry. It is the funniest thing to see. She squeezes her eye lids together and tries to frown. I think she is trying her hardest to squeeze a few tears out.
The nurse said that I could put apple juice in Hayden's sippy cup! So, we tried that today. Here she is just messing around with her cup. By the way she is pretty much a pro with her sippy cup now. Check it out- one handed, hanging upside down, and drinking. That's talent!

All Eyes on the Little OnesEveryone watched intently as the kiddies opened their little Easter baskets. Blake, the blonde little one, was more excited about the green grass in Hayden's bucket than anything else! Go figure! Check out all of the cameras around, there's even a camcorder!
It'll Fit if We Tug and Cram....I think that we have decided to give up on the whole search for a hat that will fit our child's head. This hat is a "one size" and it was just a little too small. We just can't find a hat that will fit. We are going to have to stick to the baseball hat, with the adjustable Velcro strip, that Grandma and Grandpa Milko got her. It's such a shame because she has some really cute hats!
Why Did You Say I Am I Down Here Again? Aunt Nancy worked hard to hide Easter eggs for the children and adults. Here is Hayden trying to pick up one of the adult eggs.
Too Much Fun for One AfternoonAs you can see, Hayden was ready to go and take a nap towards the end of our visit. She even managed to fall asleep in mommy arms amidst all of the noise and commotion.

Hayden has started to mimic our expressions, which is really funny. This picture was taken about 5 seconds after the one above. She saw me smile, so she wanted to smile but she was also sad. So, you get this half sad half happy face. She's just awesome!

Last night we took a family field trip to the elementary school track that is right down the street. Daddy walked the track with Hayden in her stroller and mommy tried to run the track. I was trying to "run off" my Achilles tendon injury that is very annoying!! It didn't work so well though. Any way, we bundled Hayden up in her hoodie because we had a cold front come in.
The weather was still cold this morning when we ran our errands so the hoodie went back on.

The New Noise
It really sounds like Hayden is trying to whistle! She's pretty good at it, for a 6 month old with two bottom teeth that are 1/2 way in.
This was actually the first picture that I took when I busted her not sleeping in her crib, but I liked the close up smile picture better.
Here she was yesterday playing with her leap frog that Whitney got her. I think she likes the company in her crib while she is trying to fall asleep...or stay awake.

Not So Lady Like...
Even with a skirt on Hayden will sleep like this, when she sleeps on her back. We really need to work on teaching her to be a lady! Thank goodness for those little bloomers!
Daddy wasn't feeling too well this morning so I went in to wake Hayden up. I decided that I would bring Hayden in our room in order to cheer daddy up. Look what happened...they both fell back to sleep!
When Hayden was finally ready to wake up this morning she wanted daddy awake too. So, she talked to him and when that didn't work she started to grab his face. I think he really enjoyed that.
After Hayden was done messing with daddy she moved to Moo the cat. Moo wasn't giving her the time of day so Hayden talked to her and then grabbed her. Hayden ended up pushing Moo off the bed; I guess she got a little too excited. What a crazy kid.

Hayden just had to try on the bathing suit that Grandma and Grandpa Ross got her yesterday. Grandma Ross took Hayden and I out on a little shopping trip. Mommy got a dress, daddy got a pair of pants, and baby got a swim suit. It's a size 12 month....hopefully it will still fit in 4 months! Then again, a girl can't have too many swim suits!
We found another bathing suit in the drawer today! It was given to Hayden before she was even born. Like I said....a girl can never have too many bathing suits!
